Dr. Brass School 2025-2026
Welcome Back Message
Good morning everyone, and welcome back to school!
Our teachers and staff are so excited to see you and to get started on a brand-new year of learning. We can’t wait to hear about your summer and to help you reach your goals this year.
Over the summer, the GSSD facilities team worked hard to make our school look even better. You’ll notice we have new stairs at the front entrance, and our basement is freshly painted with new carpet. We are lucky to have such a great team working behind the scenes to keep our school safe and welcoming.
This year, we want to remind everyone that our school is a place of respect and kindness. Racist or hurtful language will not be allowed. If it happens, students will be removed from the classroom right away. Every single person deserves to feel safe and respected at school.
A couple more important reminders that make our school safer include: our parking lot is for staff only and there is no parking on Darlington Avenue where the bus parks. As our staff continues to grow, we need space for teachers and support staff. Thank you to families for your cooperation and for helping keep everyone safe during drop-off and pick-up times.
We’re so glad you’re here, and we’re ready for a great year together. Let’s make 2025–2026 the best year yet!
